Mark Scutchings is the director of Hearbase as well as being a qualified hearing aid audiologist and registered clinical physiologist with responsibility for all of the clinical aspects of the work of the company. He has worked in the field of hearing for over 25 years, in both the public and private sectors and served on the Council of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals as well as being involved in a number of charity projects concerned with the hard of hearing, both in the UK and overseas.

Justin started with Hearbase in March 2010 and has now taken on the role as General Manager. Responsibilities include marketing management, customer relations and general day to day management of Hearbase. With a varied and interesting career history, Justin has gained a wealth of commercial and management skills. His previous roles include product and marketing manager for a leading over 50's company, sales manager for a London based professional lighting company and a soccer coach in the USA.

Charlotte started with Hearbase in May 2010 as the Administration Manager. Responsibilities include the administrative and financial management of the company, together with internal HR. With a varied career history, Charlotte has gained a broad commercial skill base. Previous roles include project manager within education, branch manager for a Kent based recruitment agency, working for a wine importer/supplier and a manager within a marketing/promotional company.

Sally French is a qualified hearing aid audiologist who has worked for The Hearing Care Centre for over 12 years. She is our main dispenser at The Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury and in addition she provides clinical support to ENT Consultants.

Anita Radziszewska is a hearing aid dispenser who trained in Poland and joined us in 2008. She is working at our  Orpington, Gillingham, Dover, Herne Bay, Thanet, Benenden, Hythe and Deal branches and also with NHS patients.

Adam Bird is a qualified hearing aid audiologist who joined Hearbase in June 2010 and is based in our Folkestone branch. Adam has worked in the hearing aid industry for 15 years, and has a wealth of experience in both the private and NHS sector. He has expert knowledge of new technology that is currently available, and with his professional and caring approach, has built up a good rapport with Hearbase customers.

David joined Hearbase in January 2011. His responsibilities are primarily customer telephone contact, he also helps with accounts and website maintenance.

Jenni Burnes joined us in September 2009 as a Technical Administrator. Her role includes dealing with PCT Choose + Book Referrals, booking appointments for these patients, answering any PCT queries, setting up diary sessions for PCT, general office administration duties and assisting the clinical team.

Ruth is one of our longest serving members of staff, having joined Hearbase in March 2008 as an administrator. Ruth is very versatile and has been involved in all aspects of administration, her current duties are varied and include stock control, accounts, reception cover, PCT, preparing clinic lists, daily post and customer service.

Kim is a receptionist at our Folkestone branch and has been with Hearbase since June 2010. Kim has many years experience in customer service and is perfect as a first point of contact with patients. Kim uses her skills to build an excellent rapport with our customers both face to face and on the telephone. Her duties are varied and include appointment booking, general enquiries, dealing with post, checking hearing aids on delivery, and assisting the branch audiologist.

Paula joined Hearbase in June 2010 as a receptionist, and is often the first point of contact for customers, both face to face and on the telephone, a key role and one that Paula excels in. Her duties are varied and also include appointment booking, dealing with general enquiries, office duties and assisting the branch audiologist. Paula has many years experience in customer service and uses this to build an excellent rapport with our customers.
